Draft — pending counsel review. This page was drafted from an issue-spotting brief, not by a lawyer. It will change before mainnet.
1. What Raise the Dead is
Raise the Dead is software: a website and an on-chain Solana program. The site lists tokens whose public data meets the death check, records consent, and shows vigils. The program holds pledged SOL in a per-revival vault, refunds it if a vigil misses its threshold, and on success creates a v2 token, seeds a pool and lets eligible wallets claim. The platform does not hold your keys and cannot move your SOL except as the program's code allows.
2. Who may use it
- You must be 18 or older and legally able to agree to these terms.
- You must not be located in, or a resident of, a comprehensively sanctioned country or region (including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk and Luhansk regions), and you must not be on any sanctions list. We block these regions, and we may refuse any wallet; you confirm you are not using tools to get around those blocks.
- You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you.
3. Pledges, refunds and the fee
- A pledge sends SOL to the revival's on-chain vault. There are no withdrawals during a vigil.
- If the vigil misses its threshold by the deadline, refunds are permissionless: anyone can trigger them and the lamports go only to the recorded pledger. You still pay Solana network fees for your own transactions. Refunds depend on the program working as written; it is not audited.
- If the vigil fills, 10% of the pledged SOL is taken as a revival fee and sent to the $RAISE buyback-and-burn. The rest goes into the v2 pool. No fee is taken on a refunded vigil.
- v2 claims are open for 30 days. Unclaimed v2 is burned.
4. Consenters
A CTO or holder who signs a consent message represents that they are who they say they are. A CTO who grants brand use warrants that they have the right to license the name, logo and art they list, and agrees that no-affiliation notices will be shown. A holder quorum can open a vigil but cannot grant brand use. Consenters must not promise any future work, roadmap, price or return.
5. Content, lore and takedowns
"Lore by Claude" is dramatized text written by an AI from public on-chain facts and reviewed by a person before it appears. It is not a statement about any person. To report an error, an IP issue or a takedown request, contact us (legal contact and DMCA agent: to be published before launch). We aim to act within 48 hours, falling back to ticker-only display.
6. No advice, no warranty, limits
Nothing on the site is financial, legal or tax advice. The software is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using it, including smart-contract failures, network outages, wallet errors or changes in token value. Dispute resolution, arbitration, class-action waiver and governing law: to be set by counsel.
7. Changes
We may change these terms. The version on this page applies from the date it is posted.
